MatchMaker Meetings = Opportunity!
As part of the 2012 WBENC National Conference & Business Fair, on Thursday, June 21, WBENC will host MatchMaker meetings, an opportunity for WBENC-Certified WBEs to meet with buyers from our WBENC Corporate and Government member organizations to discuss possible opportunities in various service and product areas.
All WBENC-Certified WBE suppliers registered for the full conference by May 11, are eligible to participate (i.e., WBE sponsors, WBE exhibitors and full conference WBE attendees). Any WBENC Corporate or Government Member buyers interested in participating in MatchMaker Meetings should email
matchmakers@wbenc.org.
Meetings are based on the current or near-future sourcing opportunities of Corporate and Government Members. Therefore, one-on-one meetings will be limited to the opportunities that exist.

It's Fun...It's Fitness...It's Zumba!
 In its 15th year, WBENC is celebrating Vision, Opportunities, and Success! Individuals who embody these terms embrace the importance of work/life balance. WBENC is making strides in that direction by offering conference programming that incorporates an opportunity for physical fitness and fun while making connections that will keep your company fit.
Kate Armstrong, Itron Supplier Diversity Leader, and a certified Zumba instructor, will lead Zumba classes onsite at the conference. Zumba is a Latin dance-inspired fitness program involving dance and aerobic elements. Zumba's choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts, and aerobic moves such as Squats and lunges.
Watch for opportunities to participate in Zumba classes during the conference. |

Writers of WBENC... you're invited to join the action on the Business Fair Floor
WBENC-Certified WBEs who have written books relevant to the business community and/or books dealing with business, health, workplace, self-help, and/or other topics of interest to Corporate and Government Members, other WBENC-Certified WBEs, and/or other groups and individuals who attend the WBENC National Conference & Business Fair are invited to join the action on the Business Fair Floor.
We are offering a special rate to authors who want a seat in the Writers of WBENC row on the Business Fair Floor on June 20. For $250, you can purchase your seat. All other costs associated with shipping, and selling books are the responsibility of the WBENC-Certified WBE author including compliance with Florida tax laws.
