MatchMaker Meetings = Opportunity!

 

As part of the 2012 WBENC National Conference & Business Fair, on Thursday, June 21, WBENC will host MatchMaker meetings, an opportunity for WBENC-Certified WBEs to meet with buyers from our WBENC Corporate and Government member organizations to discuss possible opportunities in various service and product areas.
 

All WBENC-Certified WBE suppliers registered for the full conference by May 11, are eligible to participate(i.e., WBE sponsors, WBE exhibitors and full conference WBE attendees). Any WBENC Corporate or Government Member buyers interested in participating in MatchMaker Meetings  should email 

matchmakers@wbenc.org.

 

Meetings are based on the current or near-future sourcing opportunities of Corporate and Government Members. Therefore, one-on-one meetings will be limited to the opportunities that exist.  

 

Better than ever, and built around the Conference theme, "Celebrating 15 Years: Vision, Opportunities and Success!" this year's workshops will

help you make the most of your WBENC involvement at the 2012 WBENC National Conference & Business Fair.

Sessions will prepare you to maximize the benefits of WBENC and the Conference, while providing you with the tools you need to strengthen your business and create lasting partnerships.

The Government Contracts Track will help participants learn how to leverage WBENC WOSB certification and networking contacts to realize growth through government business. If you've been looking at government as the next market for your services, this workshop track is for you!

Her efforts helped grow Accel from a  1,200 square foot studio to an award-winning company, which in 2011 moved to a new 517,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art, LEED-certified facility that will add 400 jobs to the area.  

 

Tara is a longtime supporter of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), serving on the WBENC Board of Directors and as vice chair and now chair of Women's Enterprise Leadership Forum. In 2007, Tara was named a Women's Business Enterprise Star. In 2008, she was WBE co-chair of the Women in Business National Conference and Business Fair in Atlanta. The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and WBE Auction Chair, Lynn Griffith of Welcome Events, are pleased to announce the 2012 Silent Auction call for donations.  
 
The Silent Auction will be held on June 19, 2012, at the Peabody Orlando during the National Conference and Business Fair.  
 
You are invited to help WBENC achieve its 2012 Auction goal of $150,000 and make this very special event a success. Donations that generate excitement, great interest, and great bids are being sought. Donations could include the following:

In 2012, WBENC has added  more tools from Map Your Show for conference attendees, making it easier to maximize your experience at the 2012 WBENC National Conference & Business Fair.

 

Search the 2012 Business Fair Floor Plan 

 

Using the Interactive Floor Plan, you are able to search through the list of 2012 exhibitors to see who's exhibiting at the show and what products they offer. Reduce the amount of time wandering through aisles to find exhibitors by using the floor plan application to locate their booths in the exhibit hall.

 

The opening screen of the floor plan application offers the following options:
