THE SOLIDLINE CREW TAKES OVER TELLURIDE, COLORADO
The crew headed to Telluride, Colorado June 12-16 to film a documentary highlighting the work taking place there at the Telluride Roundtable. The Roundtable is a yearly summit of patient safety leaders and medical students from around the world who get together to work towards making medical care better and safer for everyone. During the week, SolidLine documented amazing conversations throughout the beautiful town of Telluride. From classroom discussions, to intimate talks on a gondola ride up the mountain, the content is very powerful and will continue to further the mission of Dave Mayer, MD and Tim McDonald, MD, who started the Roundtable 7 years ago.

"This documentary is going to be something special to share with everyone in our field," states Roundtable founder Dave Mayer, MD. "It will also help to disseminate to health science schools, residency programs and others on the educational work being done in Telluride related to open, honest and professional communication in healthcare."
SolidLine plans to release the documentary of the Telluride Roundtable this fall.

38 DAYS TO SOLIDLINE OFFICE MOVE

| The future Edit Suite 2 and 3 are framed up at SLM's new Chicago office. |
After over 5 years at the corner of Jackson and Wells in Chicago, SolidLine is moving on up, literally, 4 blocks North to Washington and Wells.
The new 2-story, 4,000 square foot production office will occupy the entire top floor at 180 West Washington and will feature 3 AVID editing suites, a full Art Department, a filming studio, and plenty of additional creative space. "It's been a lot of fun for all of us to be able to be a part of the planning and design of the new SolidLine offices," states SLM's Ed Boe. "I am in charge of the photography for the walls throughout the space and am excited to start hanging photos I have been taking and adding our finishing touches in the weeks ahead."
Construction is well underway and moving is set for the third week in August.

Last Month's Puzzler
Put your movie quote knowledge to the test below...
What movie featured the quote below? The man likes to play chess; let's get him some rocks.
Congrats to SolidLine fan Robyn Kove, Director of Marketing and Member Connections for Midtown Athletic Clubs. Robyn correctly identified "The Shawshank Redemption" as the answer Puzzler was looking for! Robyn will soon be cruizin' around town in her brand new SolidLine branded fleece - congrats Robyn and thanks for keeping tabs on the SolidLine crew!
The New Puzzler!
The 4th of July is often referred to as the biggest BBQ day of the year, it's the pinnacle of the summer BBQ season. This means amateur and professional grillmasters across the country are lighting their fires and showing family and friends their 'grilling skills.' And hot dogs are unmistakably the most consumed meat on the 4th...which leads us to this month's Puzzler question...
The Question:
How many hot dogs are consumed on the 4th of July?
A. 150 Million
B. 75 Million
C. 125 Million
D. 200 Million
Think you know the answer? Send it in to puzzler@solidlinemedia.com. If you're the first correct respondent, then you will be outfitted with your very own SolidLine fleece jacket, perfect for a summer night on the deck, in your choice of 5 sweet colors. Good luck and thanks for playing!

HAPPY SOLIDLINE CLIENTS
I showed the simulation study video to our study faculty last week. There was an overwhelming response (3 people came up and told they had gotten chills when watching it!). I also had requests to show it again during the break.
Just wanted you to know that we all think it's great. Thank you!

MEET THE CREW
2 Qs with SolidLine Production Coordinator Kevin Wright
Tell us about your first week at SolidLine.
My first week with SolidLine Media was somewhat crazy since we were quickly out of the office meeting with clients, visiting the Taste of Chicago, and performing truck maintenance (all in the first couple of days actually). It felt as though I fit in swiftly and developed a near instant rapport with everyone else in the office. I already feel challenged and have enjoyed the myriad of tasks I've already done.
What do you most look forward to as part of the SolidLine crew?
I look forward to using my creativity in an environment that so far seems to not only foster but reward it. I'm also excited to get out on the road and see the amazing places we get to film.

ASK THE CREW
Should SolidLine hire professional movers for next month's office move?
Mike Petrik, Art Director
I am too small to lift anything.
Ed Boe, Director of Photography / Editor
Professional Movers! Despite their good looks, the boys of SolidLine Media are far to delicate to dirty their hands with menial labor...except for intern John!
Kevin Wright, Production Coordinator
I say professional movers, our delicate hands might be calloused as a result of touching anything like a box.
Justin Younger, Motion Graphics Artist
I just started working here. Now I have to move?
Marcus Leshock, Writer
I think it's best to stick with the pros on this one. We are only used to carrying around huge camera cases and the like, so lifting relatively light boxes may be insulting to this group.
John Courchane, Summer Production Intern
I think we should do the move ourselves because despite our good looks the boys of SolidLine Media could use some manual labor...especially Ed Boe!
Michael Kromm, Creative Director
Professional movers - that way we can concentrate on the technology side of the move.
Greg Vass, Executive Producer
I am taking off that day so I think the SLM crew can do it...
