The crane has an important place in Japanese art, poetry and myth. The practice of folding origami cranes is often done by a group of people working together. It fosters a sense of united community to raise awareness and give support to those in need. During the month of April The Tea Smith has adopted this theme and is offering an opportunity to assist those in need financially.
