Greetings!
It's days like this we're glad we work in a basement. No, seriously. If we had windows all we'd do is stare wistfully out of them and never get any work done. But we all need some vitamin D, right? That's why we have our Boozin' n' Schmoozin at Envy which has a terrace bar. Perfect for soaking up the evening sun, having a beverage and making some friends. We're having one on Monday, see you there? Oh, and by the way, if you want to know any more about any of our courses, you can always get our e-course-catalogue. Simply email catalogue@raindance.co.uk and we'll pop one into your inbox. James Burbidge Editor

Blog of the Week
Heyuguys is a fun, mainstreamish blog from these fair shores. Give it a read.
Things We Like
This is bizarre, but creative and fun. On the isleoftune, the trees are notes of a song that the cars play as they pass.

Review: Meek's Cutoff
Kelly Reichardt has a distinctive, minimalist indie that can have a Marmite effect. Nonetheless, this is an impressive piece of filmmaking and a revolutionary take on the Western. Visually hemmed in, Reichhardt's story follows a group of wagonneers lost in the wilderness, unsure whether to trust their guide, Meek. Definitely worth a watch. Read the full review.

Work, work, work.
Ask yourself, "If all jobs paid $2 an hour, what job would I want to do?" When you answer that question, start doing it, even if you have to do it for free at first. - Greg Aldrik The best way to appreciate your job is to imagine yourself without one. - Oscar Wilde Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support group for that. It's called EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar. - Drew Carey |
