New Tutors
Raindance is proud to welcome two new tutors to our stable of industry professionals. Gang, meet:
Gabriela Enis, who has more than 24 years of experience in film and television, working mainly as editor but also as producer and director. She has edited over 90 films for BBC, CH4, and was nominated for BAFTA Best Short Film Award.
Roland Heap, who was born into analogue and raised digitally. He cut his teeth at Abbey Road studios, working on Hollywood film scores. He now works as a sound designer and recordist, and has supervised the sound for a number of features, including Academy award nominee Ashvin Kumar's debut feature 'The Forest.'

Short Film Fund Announced for Young Filmmakers

IdeasTap are offering all 16-25 year olds the opportunity to make a short film without having to worry about raising the funds.
There are 8 prizes of £5,000 up for grabs, and the resulting film should be no longer than 5 minutes.
We're looking for original and engaging ideas - anything from a documentary, conceptual piece, a trailer for a feature, a music video, fashion film or an animated short to name a few possibilities.
