Greetings!
Hi there, Coming from the notably warm and sunny city of Dallas, Texas, you could say I've had a very "cold" introduction to Raindance - and I haven't even begun to talk about the weather. Just kidding! Though I'm sorry to have missed the festival, I'm very excited to be the newest intern at Raindance and to be in one of London's trendiest areas. The excitement of the festival has died down a bit, but classes are in full swing. Thus far, I've helped out on Thursday nights with the Director's Foundation Certificate with Chris Thomas. I'm also really interested in the upcoming courses in November such as Write and Sell the Hot Script and Producer's Foundation Certificate since my interests lie in screenwriting and film marketing. Maybe I'll see you in the classroom? Cheers (as they say), Lauren Mahomes |

| As a producer, I think one of the most important decisions you make is not necessarily the material you are working on but the production apparatus that you choose to develop the project with, and that determines what funding you go to, it determines many factors. Atom Egoyan
