Greetings!
Hello there,
I'm Chris Thomas and I have been with Raindance since 1998. I started as a student, having spent several years acting and directing in theatre. I took the full filmmakers diploma and the next thing I know I am working in the office helping Elliot and co run the rapidly expanding course programme. I also made a couple of shorts and helped others as an editor and camera operator.
It became clear my experience from theatre would add a new dimension to the directing programme and in 2000 I started teaching a course entitled Directing Actors as an evening and then a weekend class.

| Raindance at Latitude
Riz Ahmed to judge Raindance Film Challenge At the end of next week, the Raindance team is heading off to Latitude offering a series of workshops and a film competition. Participants have the duration of the week end to shoot a short film. Films will be screened on Sunday afternoon at the Literary Salon. The winner will be announced by our juror; actor and musician Riz Ahmed. The winning film will screened at this year's Raindance Film Festival in October, in Central London.
