Greetings!

DVD
Hello there,

I'm Chris Thomas and I have been with Raindance since 1998. I started as a student, having spent several years acting and directing in theatre. I took the full filmmakers diploma and the next thing I know I am working in the office helping Elliot and co run the rapidly expanding course programme. I also made a couple of shorts and helped others as an editor and camera operator.

It became clear my experience from theatre would add a new dimension to the directing programme and in 2000 I started teaching a course entitled Directing Actors as an evening and then a weekend class.

5 Myths of Self Promotion
Salesman

Enjoy the article? Forward to a friend
The commonest complaint of screenwriters and filmmakers is they hate self promotion.

The film industry is fiercely competitive and self promotion is probably the least understood element.

Self promotion can easily make you look like a braggard, or worse yet, like a cheesey salesman.

Do it right, and everyone will think you are as fab as you already know you are.
