Greetings!

Sid FishousNo, I'm not going to write this as though I'm Sid. He's a very small fish and his fins wouldn't be heavy enough to press the keys anyway. Sid does not contribute any work to the office...he's a fish.

Sid joined the office in August 2009 along with five colleagues. In the ensuing months all his associates died in mysterious circumstances. On two occasions the bodies were never found. Sid remains the sole suspect, but we can't pin anything on him.

Sid is also the only witness to four burglaries. It is therefore possible that he is the evil mastermind of a large criminal underground...or he could be a fish.

Sid lives with several plants which he seems to like, and a large plastic boot, which he detests. To our knowledge Sid has never seen any films, nor has an opinion on the current state of the industry.

If you would like to write to Sid, then there is something seriously wrong with you. He doesn't have an email address and frankly putting a computer in his bowl would no doubt lead to an unpleasant electrical death. To repeat...he's a fish.

One can always rely on Jarl Olsen's 'Ministry of Information' for sage, relevant life lessons.

In the 'Bulletin 8: Self-Help', a chimp listens to a self-help recording to prove that 'He who helps himself has a fool for a therapist.'

International film clips are projected onto a mother's swollen belly to demonstrate how 'It is never too early to expose your child to other cultures in 'Bulletin 7: Pregnant'.

And finally, a woman releases her stress in 'Bulletin 4: Squeaky Toy' to highlight how 'Problems will be solved in the order they are perceived.'
Review: Chloe
Chloe

Preconception is a dangerous thing in criticism. Anything that can inform a viewing of a film has the potential to impede objectivity. With this in mind, I try to know as little as possible about the films I'm previewing before each screening. I knew nothing whatsoever about 'Chloe' before I arrived to watch it. I sat down, glanced at the production notes, and saw the words 'Directed by Atom Egoyan'. The wall was shattered.

'Chloe' is the story of a doctor who, fearing her husband it cheating on her, hires an attractive young woman to proposition him. The results of this investigation are not entirely what she expected

Superstonic Sound

Former Raindance student Raphael Erichsen presents his latest documentary SUPERSTONIC SOUND. There will be a special preview on 7th June at London's Roundhouse and a world premiere at NXNE in Toronto in late June.

Superstonic Sound is a journey with the legendary DJ who was at the heart of Britain´s musical and culture clash - Don Letts. The documentary follows the Letts family legacy that mirrors the history of BASS in the UK from Dub, Reggae and Punk to 80s pop, Hip Hop and Dubstep; a musical, cultural and personal link between past and present.
