Greetings!
Last week James made a point of saying that he didn't normally dress as he did in his photo. Well, this is how I dress all the time. In fact this picture was taken of me addressing the delegates at the recent International Society of Supervillains conference in Brighton outlining my plans for the invasion of Ruritania.
While not planning world domination my cover is as Course Director here in the Raindance underground lair, where I organise my minions....sorry, interns...in preparing all the training courses we run throughout the year.
So, if you have any queries regarding courses feel free to contact me on rory@raindance.co.uk

At Raindance we're proud to say that our course tutors
don't make a living teaching our courses. No, they make a living working in the
industry: writing, directing, producing, editing, or working in one of the
other myriad roles film and TV offer.
This week we bring you news that two of our writing
tutors are hard at work...
Dave Cohen, who teaches Write the Sitcom, Sell the Sitcom, will be presenting his stand-up show at the Etcetera Theatre in London
- make sure you go and see him!
Clive Bradley, who teaches our TV Writer's Lab, is hard
at work writing a script for a 2-part drama, Single-Handed, to be filmed in
Ireland for ITV in the spring.

Food Inc.
|
|
After Monday's A-list premiere hosted by Stella McCartney, the hotly-anticipated Oscar-nominated FOOD, INC. reaches UK cinemas this Friday, courtesy of Dogwoof.
Robert Kenner lifts the veil on the food industry, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that's been hidden from the consumer. Our food supply is now controlled by a handful of corporations that often put profit ahead of consumer health, the livelihood of the farmer, the safety of workers and our own environment. Featuring interviews with experts such as Eric Schlosser (author of Fast Food Nation) and Michael Pollan (author of The Omnivore's Dilemma).
Monday 15 February sees a special day of one-off nationwide screenings, which will present the only opportunity to see the film in some areas of the country We're giving away FIVE pairs of tickets for participating cinemas to the first five correct answers to the following question: What is the title of Dogwoof's other Oscar-nominated documentary this year? E-mail admin@dogwoof.com with the answer stating the cinema you want tickets for.
