Various Raindance alumni have gone on to great successes. This week we are pleased to announce that:
Exam, which screened at Raindance in 2009, has been nominated for a BAFTA - Outstanding Debut By A British Writer, Director Or Producer.
One Day Removals, which also screened at Raindance in 2009, has been picked up by the distributor Cinemavault.
Director Joe Carnahan whose first film (Blood, Guts, Bullets and Octane) screened at Raindance in 1998 is directing summer blockbuster, The A-Team as well as a prequel to his ridiculously over the top actioner, Smokin' Aces.
