Critical Content: Raindance Reviews:
Terry Gilliam's latest film, "The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus", features a visually astounding blend of fantasy and reality. For more on Heath Ledger's final film. "Unmade Beds", starring Fernando Tielve of "Pan's Labyrinth", is a story of turmoil and displacement within the youth culture of London. Review of Unmade Beds.

Quoted
Didn't get to the festival? Here's some idea of what it was like:
Hear no evil, speak no evil - and you'll never be invited to a party ~ Oscar Wilde Like other parties of the kind, it was first silent, then talky, then argumentative, then disputatious, then unintelligible, then altogether, then inarticulate, and then drunk. When we had reached the last step of this glorious ladder, it was difficult to get down again without stumbling. ~George Gordon Byron
There's always some amount of gradual, slow burning destruction over the course of partying. ~ Gavin DeGraw
And one for all of us in the office:
I am thankful for the mess to clean after a party because it means I have been surrounded by friends. ~Nancie J. Carmody

Coffee Break
Here's something you can do on your coffee break:
www.funnyordie.com Funny Or Die was created by the guys at Gary Sanchez Productions (Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy) and a bunch of Silicon Valley dudes and ladies who drive Hondas and watch old episodes of Babylon Five.
Funny Or Die is a comedy video website (duh) that combines user generated content with original, exclusive content. The site is a place where celebrities, established and up-and-coming comedians and regular users can all put up stuff they think is funny.
At the same time, the site hopes to eliminate all the junk that people have to pick through to find videos. But be careful - Funnyordie.com is addictive, and you never know boss is going to come back!

Renounced
Politicians with Wives Who Break Laws
We have it here, but it didn't happen in California until last July: Banning texting and calling on mobiles while driving.
Stand on any street corner in California and count at least 5 people within an
hour who have a phone to their ear.
The public is one thing, but a public
figure is quite another. Maria Shriver, wife to the governor of California, was
caught in photos talking on her mobile phone. And here's the rub, she's been
caught more than once in photos! It's not enough that she's incredibly rich so
she can buy herself the latest in Bluetooth technology but shouldn't she be
aware of the law that she incessantly breaks?
The law was implemented for very serious
reasons. We'd like to thank you for donating your
old phone but please, Ms. Shriver, set a good example and buy yourself an
earpiece for that mobile.
