The RACES ARE ON!
On December 4th & 5th, hundreds of the world's best snowmobile racing teams will roll into the Ottawa Valley to compete at the "Season Opener" Canadian Snowcross Championships at Calabogie Peaks Resort.
Don't worry about the recent warm temperatures. Our Mountain Team has been hard at work, covering the course in snow. We have over 3 feet of snow on the track! The course -- uphill and downhill -- is being groomed and snow is piling up to create the big features!
With its high-flying aerial displays and compact track design, competitors race head to head on tracks that feature tight turns, banked corners, huge jumps, moguls, hill climbs and down hill drop offs. Sleds often fly 100' feet through the air. All this action takes place in full view of thousands of spectators.
The 1/2 mile race course will be built on the mountain directly in front of the resort so spectators can view all the action from the licensed patio or trackside.

Advance purchase of Saturday buffet tickets is recommended. Tickets can be purchased at Dickson Manor front desk, ski lodge cafeteria and Black Donalds bar.
For casual fine dining, Canthooks Restaurant, in Dickson Manor, will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
