Oct. 10, 9:45am - PTA Social - Art Tour and Lunch (Palazzo Pitti, Villa Bardini, & Pizzeria Tarocchi)
Don't miss our first PTA Social Event! All parents are welcome to join us for an artistic excursion and lunch. Meet at the Palazzo Pitti Ticket Office. Our private tour guide will lead us on a fantastic journey. First we will visit "Firenze negli ochi dell'artista. Da Signorini a Rosai", an exhibition of 49 paintings depicting the magnificence of Florence from multiple perspectives. Next, we will take in "Da Fattori al Novecento" at Villa Bardini (Costa S. Giorgio, 2), featuring a large and valuable collection of paintings. Although lunch can host an unlimited number of people, the art tour is limited to 20 guests.
Prices:
Palazzo Pitti: 13 euro 
Villa Bardini: 8 euro
Tour Guide: 20 euro
Lunch: 20: euro

Oct. 15 & 16 ISF vs. ISM (International School of Milan) Grade 4 & 5 Sports Tournament
The Junior School will be taking 20 students from grades 4 and 5 to the International School of Milan to participate in the 6th Annual ISF vs. ISM Sports Tournament. This competition features a variety of sports and games such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, athletics, and capture the flag. If your 4th or 5th grader is ready for this challenge, please contact Gemma Iannone.

There is no school for JS students on this day. Teachers will contact parents to set up conference times.

Schedule your Upper School Parent Teacher Conferences using the conference booking website. Dr. Hobdell will contact parents with instructions for accessing and using the site.

Oct. 24 United Nations Day (US)
This multicultural event commemorates the founding of the United Nations on October 24, 1945. It celebrates the many countries and cultures represented by the UN.

Oct. 31, 3:00 Junior School Halloween Parade
Bring your camera and watch the Junior School students show off their creative Halloween costumes. Please have your child wear his or her uniform to school and send the costumes separately. (nothing too scary, please!)
