Our Newsletter
First of all, we hope you are enjoying our new format for the Technology Update. More than just a new look and feel, our newsletter articles tie more closely with our website. Our goal is to make it easier for you to get more information about each article's talking points, and if you find something that needs our attention, we've made it easier for you contact us about it. Second, we're back on our regular schedule - the Thursday preceding Microsoft's Patch Tuesday. This month, it's March 13. Why is Patch Tuesday important? Two key reasons: - The available updates cover security holes (we have more to say about security in this newsletter) and product enhancements and bug fixes.
- Even if you have new Microsoft software, it still might require an update that has not yet been applied. These important updates will help you keep your computers and systems up to date.

Microsoft Patch Day
The second Tuesday of every month is known as Microsoft Patch Day. It's the day that Microsoft issues all of its software patches designed to make your operating system more secure and efficient. We recommend you run Microsoft Update to find the appropriate updates for your Windows OS software and for other Microsoft programs you run, such as Microsoft Office. If you're not sure where to find Microsoft Update or which patches and updates to download, call us at 973-433-6676, and we'll walk you through the steps.
