in Canada. After a career in manufacturing and commerce, he turned to youth and community work before moving on to to counselling and coaching. He has trained and coached high profile professionals and leaders for nearly thirty years. He is an author of seventeen books, the latest of which is titled Emotional Fitness Coaching. 

 

Building on the well-known concept of Emotional Fitness Coaching Cover Imageemotional intelligence in the workplace, this book provides a framework for managers and coaches to help them implement the practice easily and effectively. It's a method developed by Redman himself and is based on his extensive experience in the field.   

Techniques covered include power listening, learning from experience, bringing out the best talent in the team through the power of group dialogue, creating balance with the use of a tool called the Workscale and emotional fitness storytelling.
