2012 - ARIZONA STATE CUP:
AYSA is pleased to announce that Arizona State Cup has over 180 teams registered this year. The competition will be held on the weekends of: April 20-22, April 27-29 & May 4-6. Note: Some games may be held on Wednesday evenings during the competition.
The Champions from age-groups U12 through U-19 will move-on to represent Arizona at the US Youth Soccer - Region IV - Far West Regional Championships to be held June 18-24 in Phoenix & Scottsdale.

2012 - ARIZONA PRESIDENTS CUP
PRESENTED BY SPORTS AUTHORITY
Arizona Presidents Cup Presented by Sports Authority concluded on Sunday, April 1st at the Reach 11 Sports Complex in Phoenix. This year, a record 200+ teams participated in the competition!
Congratulations to all of the Champions from the tournament who will now move-on to represent Arizona at Presidents Cup Regionals this June in Denver, Colorado.

CONGRATULATIONS TO CASSIE MILLER
OF SERENO SOCCER CLUB
The U-17 United States Women's National Team has selected GK Cassie Miller of the Sereno Girls '95 White team to their roster for the upcoming CONCACAF U17 Women's World Cup Qualifiers this May.
The competition will take place in Guatemala and the US team will compete against Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago, and Bahamas in group play.

AYSA BOARD POSITION
ANNOUNCEMENT
As you remember at the most recent AYSA AGM, Mark Thede was elected President. Following the election, Thede stepped down from his position as Vice President of Competition, leaving the position vacant.
Per our bylaws, notification was sent to the membership regarding the position. We received notification of interest from four applicants. After careful review, AYSA has selected Mark Lowe as the new Vice President of Competition.
Please join us in welcoming Mark Lowe to the AYSA Board of Directors.

REGION IV - FAR WEST REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS:
Arizona Youth Soccer Association will be hosting the 2012 Region IV - Far West Regional Championships from June 18-24 at the Reach 11 Sports Complex in Phoenix & Scottsdale Sports Complex in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The National Youth License course will be held on May 11-13 & May 19-20 at Grande Sports World in Casa Grande. Registration is still open and coaches are encouraged to attend.

U19 STATE CUP:
U19 State Cup will be played Memorial Day weekend. Teams must be prepared to play on Friday, May 25, 2012.

Rosters for U19 will freeze at noon on Tuesday, May 15, 2012.
Competition begins on the weekend of May 25, 2012.
