THEEducation Report                             August 2011

August is . . . often associated with the dog days of summer which runs from about July 3rd to August 11th.  There are theories about how this idiom came about but it's commonly described as the hot, sultry period in summer when very little productive work gets done. Well, we at CU*Answers are here to dispel that myth.  The teams are hard at work building a learning community to assure our clients receive the benefit of education, even when temperatures soar.

This edition of the Education Report lists the opportunities for August, but if you're proactively looking for classes coming up in the future, check out the Education CatalogChoose your classes, then remember to register at our registration site.   http://cuanswers.com/education

Here's Help!

Show Me the Steps! Help [SMTS], has become a training success story. This is one area that's expanding almost daily, but we still have room for more topics.  To further promote that belief, CU*Answers sponsored a contest to rally more collaborative spirit and collect complete step-by-step instructions for some of your favorite CU*BASE functions.  We've broken 100! More than 100 entries have been received to date.  You still have until July 31st to submit your entries.

Keep in mind the topic must be new, submitted after June 23, 2011, and has to be ready to post with complete step-by-step instructions of the process. Read more here.

This is where to find Show Me the Steps.

Use Open Show Me the Steps Online Help at the top of the CU*BASE Reference Page.  Or access this system via CU*BASE by clicking the blue question mark or from Networks Links.

We encourage you to contribute even after the contest.

We welcome your step-by-step instructions at anytime. This help system has proven to be an excellent complement to GOLD Online Help and the Learn About this Feature in CU*BASE. To contribute, go to the Network Links page in CU*BASE, find and click on:
