Here's Help!
Show Me the Steps! Help [SMTS], you might remember has an inventory of 140-plus Step-by-Step Directions. That sounds like a lot until you consider that CU*BASE functionality is so broad there is potential for that number to top 3,000. Do we expect SMTS Topics to exceed 3,000? Probably not, but consider the value of this help system. Geared to the novice credit union employee, experienced workers also benefit from the elementary instructions that are simple to follow and comprehend.
Show Me the Steps! Help System exists only by collaborative effort. Launched with a mere 22 topics in mid-October, the number has grown incrementally, all due to contributions of internal teams. While we appreciate that aspect, we are eager to expand SMTS to include topics that our credit unions rate as important to new employees and to others who need to brush up on their CU*BASE Skills. Try it: Open Show Me the Steps Online Help
Q: What's missing?
A: Your contributions
Q: What can we do about that?
A: Host a contest! The credit union employee with the most approved submissions wins a $250 gift card. The credit union with the most submissions wins a lunchtime Pizza Party for employees.
Q: What is an approved submission?
A: Read all about it here, but for starters, the topic must be new, submitted after June 23, 2011, and has to be ready to post with complete step-by-step instructions of the process.
Q: How Do I Access Show Me the Steps?
A: Use Open Show Me the Steps Online Help at the top of the CU*BASE Reference Page. Or access this system via CU*BASE by clicking the or from the Networks Links.
Q: How Can I Contribute?
A: Interested in having some frequently-asked steps posted? You can contribute directions to the Show Me the Steps! Help System from the Network Links page. Find and click on:
