Spring ahead this weekend!
Daylight saving time in most of the United States starts at 2:00 am local time, on Sunday, March 13. Do I hear groaning? You didn't really need that hour anyway, did you? Contrary to popular belief, no federal rule mandates that U.S. states or territories observe daylight saving time. In fact, Hawaii and Arizona never deviate from standard time. Also contrary to popular belief the time change has nothing to do with benefit to farmers. If you're curious and want to learn more, go into your favorite Internet search engine and type: Why do we spring ahead?
Most of Michigan is in the Eastern Time Zone, so when you read the scheduled times of classes held onsite in Grand Rapids or via Web Conference, you may need to do a quick calculation in your head and subtract 1 to 3 hours, depending on where you are in the continental United States.
Regardless of your time zone, we have classes for your staff. To register or see a list of classes anytime, 24/7 start here. http://www.cuanswers.com/education/ |
