February 2012

Greetings from Thomas Cooper Library!

As spring approaches, so does our deadline for new book purchases. Send along your recommendations for new books and media. Together, we can build a great collection.

It is not too late to request a library workshop for your students. Please contact me for any questions about our library services.

Best regards,

Amy

ILL offers new online feature

Have you ever thought that a book you requested thrbooksough ILL would make a good addition to our library collection?  Now USC faculty who ask to borrow a book or other item from another institution through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) have the option to request that the item be purchased and added to the Libraries' collection.  Find out how easy it is to request a purchase.

Are you getting the most out of My Account

"My Account"?

All faculty members have access to the library through "My Account".   "My Account" allows you to:

1) view and renew checked out materials

2) save "preferred searches" in the catalog and receive alerts when new materials are added that match your search

3) keep a record of the materials you have borrowed (optional).

You can do all of this without coming into the library! "My Account" is linked on the library's homepage and within the library's Catalog.  Click here for help topics on using "My Account."
