February 2012
We're well into the Spring semester but that doesn't mean you can relax. Requests for books or videos should be submitted by March 15. That gives the Library enough time to order, process and pay before the end of the fiscal year. I think we have a good collection for you and the students to work with but we can always improve. Let me know if there are areas that need to be developed.

ILL offers new online feature
Have you ever thought that a book you requested through ILL would make a good addition to our library collection? Now USC faculty who ask to borrow a book or other item from another institution through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) have the option to request that the item be purchased and added to the Libraries' collection. Find out how easy it is to request a purchase.

Are you getting the most out of
"My Account"?
All faculty members have access to the library through "My Account". "My Account" allows you to:
1) view and renew checked out materials
2) save "preferred searches" in the catalog and receive alerts when new materials are added that match your search
3) keep a record of the materials you have borrowed (optional).
You can do all of this without coming into the library! "My Account" is linked on the library's homepage and within the library's Catalog. Click here for help topics on using "My Account."
