Greetings Everyone!
Faith in Action is this weekend! Join us Saturday, July 21, from 8:00am-12:00pm, as we reach out in Christian love to those around us. We have several projects lined up this month for every skill level. This newsletter will provide you with project descriptions as well as important links that will get you connected.
It is VERY HELPFUL for volunteers, new and old, to RSVP to the team leaders via the links provided. Knowing our numbers helps us to plan projects, line up materials, and prepare lunch. Please email us if you plan to attend!
First time volunteers, in addition to your RSVP, please submit a VOLUNTEER SURVEY. |

Be a Good Samaritan
Many Hands Make Light Work
Living out our mission to "Love God, Love Others, and Live Like Jesus" doesn't have to be complicated. Join the Faith in Action "Home Team" as they lend a helping hand to a few nearby neighbors. If you can mow, weed, and generally tidy up a yard, then you are "mission ready." One job may require some heavy lifting for those who are able.
Email Gordon Nichols today and let him know to count you in. |

Car Shop
Basic Car Repairs
Transportation is an essential part of economic stability. The OSLC Car Care Ministry seeks to provide dependable transportation to those who need it most. Volunteers help with oil changes and minor repairs. No experience necessary. Our certified mechanics will teach the skills needed to get the job done.
Email Don Grover if you can help. |

The OSLC Campus Crew
Almost Ready to Paint
Several groups will be rolling up their sleeves to make simple improvements around the OSLC campus. We especially need help prepping the garage for a much needed paint job. If you can provide an orbital sander, extension cords, or scrapers please let Ron Menge know. You can be a part of our effort not only to be good stewards of our facilities, but also to be a welcoming hub that will attract the community to our campus.
Email Ron Menge and join the Campus Crew. |

The Garden is Growing!
The Sun Has Been Busy
The last week of glorious weather is yielding results in the Abundance Garden. Join the Wanna Be Green Thumbs as they cultivate and harvest produce for the OSLC food bank. Veteran gardeners and novices alike are welcome and needed. Email Margie Heinz and let her know you will be there!
The Abundance Garden is a seasonal ministry of OSLC, but Wanna Be Green Thumbs meet year round every third Tuesday of the month. |

No Preference?
Just Plug Me In
If none of the above projects is more appealing than any other, don't despair! There is still a team for you. Come as you are and we will find the right fit.
Email Gordon Nichols, and he will take it from there.. |

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor 15:58 |
