Dear  ,

Greetings from the Chamber office!

If you haven't already done so be sure to submit your nominations for the Chamber's annual Business & Industry Dinner scheduled for September 27.  Help us to recognize the outstanding businesses and individuals who help make Hillsboro a better place!

Plans are underway for the 3rd annual Beer Parings Dinner. A tentative date has been set for November 3 at the KC Hall in Taylor Springs.  Keep watch for more information and how you can purchase your tickets.

We are seeking items and themed baskets for the silent auction portion of the event.  If you have something you would like included in the auction contact the Chamber office to arrange for drop off or pick up.

You need a mobile friendly website

In a small town, you might think everyone already knows about your business or your well-known tourism attraction. You might think you don't need a website at all, or that it doesn't matter if you don't have a mobile-friendly website.  You'd be wrong. Read entire article here.

Danial Miller Scholarship Fund

With the passing of Chamber President, Terri Miller's son, the Chamber has established the Danial Miller Scholarship Fund.  Donations can be made to National Bank directly or through the Chamber office.  If you would like to read more about this exceptional young man you can read his obit here or the many comments and stories on his Facebook memorial page.

Brian Green will be on site with his infamous hot dog cart selling all sorts of delicious dogs (i.e. taco dog, buffalo chicken dog, cheeseburger dog, Chicago style and a whopping pork chop on a stick!), HHS Band Boosters will have their bake sale with various sweet treats and more!

Bring your lawn chair. Fun for the entire family.  Only handicapped parking is allowed around the staging area.  Drop off your car load then park at the 4th of July pavilion. Shuttle service provided by Roger Jennings.
