VACANT POSITION  inquire by calling 532-3711

Dear  ,

Greetings from the Chamber office!  For those of you who were unable to attend the monthly meeting last Friday here are the highlights:

- the monthly meetings will continue to be on the third Friday of every month, however the location will change to adapt to the particular format (i.e. social, guest speaker, etc.)

- Chamber Bucks are going to continue to be sold all year in hopes to encourage the community to shop Chamber first.  The Chamber is looking into window decals or signage that will have a "Chamber Bucks accepted here", keep watch for details!

- the new programs chair, Angie Eickhoff is seeking ideas from the membership for monthly meetings.  If anyone has an idea please submit it to myself at the Chamber office.

- there is a vacancy on the Chamber Board of Directors.  If you are interested in learning more about the duties of a Chamber Director, contact the Chamber office for more information.

Save-the-date for the next membership meeting February 17 at a location TBD.

Have a great week!

How to work with fans of your destination

Last week, we talked about where to find the people who can promote your town online. These are people who already love your town, and are already active online. Now that you have a list of your potential online champions, what can you do with them?

The first step is to do some things FOR them.
  1. Get to know them.
  2. Connect with them.
  3. Promote their work.
