Dear ,
It is an honor and a privilege to introduce myself as the new Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce President. I want to start off by thanking our outgoing President, Gene White, for his years of service to the Chamber and the community at large, as well as thank all of our past Presidents for their help through out the years. I also want to thank the Board of Directors and membership for their support. I am very grateful for the faith you have placed in me. I am very excited for the future and look forward to working with everyone to make our Chamber the best it can be.
I look forward to sharing a thought or two with you each month, and this month I want to kick things off by reminding everyone that Election Day is fast approaching and to ask that you please take the time to vote. Countless men and woman have sacrificed to defend our Republic and to ensure that we have the right to cast our ballot. Many people only show up to the polls for national elections, but local elections shape the world we live in each day and can have the most direct effect on our lives, communities and businesses. So please exercise one of your most precious rights and VOTE April 5! Until next month,
Terri Miller, President Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce

Candidates for Mayor will have the opportunity to answer questions and discuss issues important to city residents, including present operations and future growth.
Candidates for Commissioner will also have time to present their views on city government and issues.
John Galer from the Journal-News will serve as moderator. The forum is being cosponsored by the Journal-News and the Chamber.
