The Question: What's wrong with dating someone who's not a Christian?
The Point: Dating unbelievers divides your loyalties.
Scripture:
2 Corinthians 6:14-18;
1 Corinthians 15:33
Life Principles: Darkness and light don't mix.
You don't share the most important thing in common.
You could be pulled down.
Questions to ask: - Why do you think it's important to only date other believers?
- What does it mean in the Bible to not be mismatched with unbelievers?
- How does that verse apply to dating?
- If Jesus holds first place in your life and doesn't in the person you are dating, what problems might arise?
- What are the risk factors involved in dating a non-believer?
