Gary Stoutz Travels After treatment on his Achilles, Gary and his wife Sunny were able to travel to South America and tour about the country with absolutely no discomfort. Gary was kind enough to send us a picture and story of his travels, and we would like to share both with you:
Gary's Trip to South America "We landed in Lima, Peru, flew to Cusco and stayed 4 days in Urabamba to see the "Sacred Valley of the Inca. There we visited Pisac, the Incan ruins at Ollantaytambo (9,150 ft. and over 300 rock stairs) and then on to Machu Picchu (8,040 ft.) The next 4 days we were in Cusco (elevation 10,800 ft.) where we saw the city visited the Incan ruins of Sacshyhuaman and also a grade school in the mountain village of Chinchero. We then took a bus to Puno (12,500 ft.) and saw Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. The visit to the floating islands of the lake and meeting the people that live on them was a real highlight. We also saw the Incan and pre-Incan tombs of Sillastani (13,000+ ft.)." - Gary Stoutz
The picture below was taken of Gary and Sunny in Machu Picchu. |
