October 2010
Hello!

Greetings from the Healthcare Value Leaders Network.

This past month, Network members continued their collaboration and sharing in a number of ways. For one, we completed the first pilot assessment of a member organization using a version of the Shingo model, adapted for healthcare.  This assessment measures an organization's "lean maturity level" and provides feedback to an organization in order to further accelerate their lean journey. The assessment is provided to our Network member organizations at no additional cost. Details to follow in upcoming newsletters.

INTERESTED IN JOINING A NETWORK?
Starting two new cohorts in 2011
Are you a healthcare delivery organization that has demonstrated results from lean? Do you have executive-level support and leadership for your efforts? Are you willing to share your lessons learned, collaborating with others to define, measure, and share lean healthcare success?

As we mentioned in our last newsletter, we are working on  starting our third Network in early 2011. The September info session in Cambridge was a packed room and we are starting to fill places in the Network (with a goal of 12 members). But, we'd still like to talk to you if you're interested in joining the third Network or a future Network.

Our next info session will be in March to talk about a potential fourth Network that would start in late 2011.

If you would like to discuss the Network, please email Mark Graban (mgraban@lean.org) or Helen Zak (hzak@lean.org) or call 617-891-2900.
