We hope you can Save the Date for Win-Win's exciting spring fundraiser, 'Wine-Dine with Win-Win'. We are thrilled to announce the donation of Roy Carroll's elegant penthouse ballroom over looking Greensboro Center City Park as the venue for this  Black-tie Gala. Additionally, we are grateful to so many of our communities finest restaurants and NC wineries for their donations and participation.

Ticket sales are limited to 250 guests, so please reserve your ticket today by calling Win-Win's office. 

The children, ages 6-18, enrolled in our B.O.T.S.O. & L.O.T.S.O. year-round mentor and tutoring programs are grateful for your attendance at this event as all proceeds directly benefit them and the continuation of these programs.

WHAT: A discussion about teen dating violence by teens and for teens

*Teen-only panel  
(includes high school B.O.T.S.O. & L.O.T.S.O. teens). 
*Three teen created skits  
*Interactive talk show format.
 
Simultaneously, a parent room will be provided and equipped with onsite Counselors to discuss this teen topic.

NOMINATE A YOUNG PEACEMAKER

Do you know an outstanding Middle school student in Guilford County?
CRITERIA:
Nomination and selection are based upon the student's sustained efforts to promote peaceful and ethical resolutions to conflict.  

NOMINATION PROCESS:
 A written nomination for each candidate must be completed by an adult staff member or advisor of a school, or community or religious organization (other than a relative) who has observed or has direct knowledge of the middle school age youth engaging in the behaviors and activities established in the criteria.
Additionally, a written response from the student stating why they think they were nominated is also part of this year's nomination process.

DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS:
APRIL 30, 2012

Win-Win Spotlight
We would like to introduce our Win-Win friends to our Board Secretary,
Michelle Blanchard 


Michelle Blanchard grew up in the Triad, NC area and currently lives in Greensboro.    

 

Lincoln Financial Group is her work home, where she supports the Underwriting & New Business Division, serves as chair of the Women's Leadership Group's Volunteerism committee, and is an active member in the Multi-Cultural Awareness Committee.

 

During a meeting with Debra Vigliano about volunteer opportunities with Win-Win Resolutions, Michelle identified with the vision and efforts of the organization in such a way that she agreed to join the Board of Directors.  

 

She is delighted to currently participate in the Pre-K C.R.E.W. workshop with four year old children at the Guilford Child Development Head Start Center.

 

Michelle is a loving wife that has been married for three years to her long-time best friend, Damon. She enjoys spending quality time with her step-daughter, Keyana, who she adores.

 

Michelle is a student at Guilford College, where she majors in Psychology and Business Management.  

 

She strives to find positive ways to connect with people, assist those struggling with hardships, and take part in opportunities to uplift women, children, and families.
