Greetings!

As the economy has begun to stabilize, our enrollments have increased tremendously. We have just added 3 new prime weeks to our 2010 schedule to meet this demand. For these three weeks, our guests will be staying at the Residenza d'Epoca La Costa atop the hill and inside the medieval walls of Montefollonico.

La Costa is very special to us and has been our primary hotel for the last 7 years. For these three special weeks at La Costa, we are offering a $200 discount per person for new registrations.

Sincerely,
Bill & Patty Sutherland

Family owned and operated, La Costa has been a very special hotel for us over the years, and offers excellent services and amenities, in addition to the most gorgeous views overlooking the Chiana Valley below. All the rooms at La Costa are air-conditioned, and La Costa has just received a coveted 4-Star rating.

The building dates backs to 1300. Today it has been given the honor of "Historical Residence," a title given by the Tuscan region to this historical building registered by the Belle Arti.

Each of the 11 attractive guest rooms is unique and has been lovingly restored to its original style. In addition to the superb standard rooms, there are five rooms with balconies and several larger suites. All guest rooms are unique in decor and supplied with the best amenities. Each room has a private bathroom, many with Jacuzzis.

Relax with a glass of Prosecco on the terrace and enjoy the incomparable and breathtaking views. It is considered one of the most beautiful panoramas in the world with a view of Cortona, home of Frances Mayes, author of Under the Tuscan Sun, across the Chiana Valley, Lake Trasimeno in Umbria, the Marches, and, when days are particularly clear, your gaze can reach the snowy peaks of the Italian Gran Sasso in Abruzzo. Every morning, fragrant aromas drift in the window as you open the shutters and enjoy the intoxicating country air and greet the sun-washed landscape scented with fresh herbs from the gardens below.

You will enjoy the great care to detail that Paola and Paolo Masini, the owners of La Costa, give to the hotel, the restaurant, and most importantly, their guests. Under their watchful eyes, La Costa has been transformed into one of Tuscany's finest hotels, all the while keeping its original Tuscan style, charm, and ambiance.
