Prepare the mind and body for the Holidays 
 

 

 

 Join Kaia on November 25th with a mental commitment to get grounded before the holidays. Yoga Mala is a practice of 108 Sun Salutations.  It is a moving meditation, not a power yoga class.  The spirit and ritual of the Mala is dedicated to personal transformation, interconnectedness and gratitude.  All participants are encouraged to listen to their bodies and decide best how to complete their Mala.  Some yoginis choose to complete all 108 on their own.  Others team up with friends, family and community to divide the number of sun salutations up amongst themselves.  You can do this on your own, with your local Kaia girlfriends or join us in Minden, a small donation is appreciated and will go to our local Food For Thought organization.    (www.nvfoodforthought.org).

Six Top Kaia Tips to Keep Off the Holiday Weight Gain.
The average weight gain during Thanksgiving and Christmas is 7 to 12 lbs. NO THANKS! 
 
The average Kaia Girl doesn't lose weight but maintains her healthy weight while anticipating the next Winter Brik (Boot Camp). Here are a few  tricks we use to ward off those unwanted extra calories.  
1. Exercise Kaia Style!   
2. Drink Lots of water! 
3. Cut back where you can on other meals.  
4. Eat what you like but only a few bites.  
5. Drink lots of herbal tea.   
6. Don't eat after 7:00!
