Dear Ms. Sherlock,
After consideration and reflection, on behalf of
myself, and the Business Development Board
of Martin County, Inc., I would like to extend my apologies for statements made by me or other BDB staff that
inaccurately portrayed your motivation or conduct in connection with your public records request or which
impugned your character. That was
never my intention and I am deeply sorry if my actions have caused you any pain.
I believe that now we may
put this entire incident behind us and move forward for the benefit of
ourselves and this community. Martin County deserves to have leaders that can work together to better this community, and
I truly believe that is now possible.
