Dear TNBC Foundation supporter,
Whether you are a longtime supporter or were prompted by the loss or struggle of a loved one to make a donation this year, we want to take a moment and say thank you for helping us in our sincere efforts to find a successful treatment for triple negative breast cancer.
Your support has enabled us to:
- Invest in exciting new research initiatives with Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, The Cancer Institute of New Jersey and Stanford University School of Medicine to hone in on targeted treatments for triple negative breast cancer.
- Continue our commitment to a Susan G. Komen for the Cure Promise Grant that specifically funds research into triple negative breast cancer.
- Provide thousands of dollars of financial assistance to over 100 TNBC patients who are in need of support to pay for transportation and childcare while accessing treatment.
- Provide a telephone support-line staffed with oncology social workers who have supported numerous members of our community throughout the year.
This year our Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation community has demonstrated its commitment in so many creative and vital ways. From New Jersey to Namibia, and beyond - The Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation is committed to Local Action and Global Solutions. From Jolie, daughter of Nancy Block Zenna, TNBC Foundation's honorary founder, rallying her friends in elementary school to sell erasers to "Erase Breast Cancer", to Bill Bressette rallying his friends to participate in a Tough Mudder endurance road race wearing t-shirts which simply said..."still easier than chemo" to show their support.
As 2011 comes to a close, we hope that you will consider a year-end donation to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation which will enable us to move into the New Year stronger than ever.
