News Brief - November 18, 2009
The December 9th Public Hearing to approve the cost affordable 2035 Transportation Plan is rapidly approaching, and we're well into the official 30-day public comment period that precedes it. We're continuing to work closely with you and our planning partners to collect comments on the Draft Cost Affordable 2035 Transportation Plan.

Last Tuesday, November 10th, we held our first Town Call meeting.  Moderator Jack Harris was joined on the panel discussion by our MPO Chair, Temple Terrace Mayor Joe Affronti, Sr., Tampa City Councilman John Dingfelder, and MPO Executive Director Ray Chiaramonte.  More than 3,800 people participated in the Town Call meeting!  Polling questions were asked during the call.  Question 3 results (below), asked near the end of the call, show that 65% of the respondents are in favor of the direction of the draft plan.  More preliminary call results are posted under Get Involved on www.mpo2035.org.
