A letter from the LCI Board President
Dear Lake Champlain Supporter,
For the past 30 years, the LCI logo has served us well. The "circle of fish" has become a recognized symbol synonymous with bold environmental stewardship and leadership, world-class fishing derbies, and exceptionally well-produced events.
Over those three decades, it has always been apparent to you and us that healthy fisheries and clean water are integrally linked. We cannot have one without the other, thus our mission to protect and restore our beloved lake all these years. Going forward we thought it important for the uninformed public to be made aware of this connection, and so we embarked on a year-long process of developing a logo that speaks directly to that link. With the assistance of countless individuals like yourself, we are proud and pleased to present to you our "flag" for the next thirty years of LCI initiative and accomplishment in ensuring a swimmable, drinkable, and fishable Lake Champlain.
As a supporter, you are invested in this organization. Therefore we are offering you a sneak peek at our new "face" before its public unveiling later this month.
Thank you for the wisdom and your vision. Not all our friends and neighbors yet see and appreciate the importance of water to our lives, our communities, and our economy, as you do. But they will-it is our job to ensure they do. Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,

Scott Goddard
President, LCI Board of Directors
P.S. Please consider a donation today to ensure a swimmable, drinkable, and fishable Lake Champlain.
