Fishing Tips:
| Although matching a lure to a known food is a great way to make the fish strike, some lures attract fish primarily due to their color, flash, and vibration. Try adding colorful beads or tape to jazz up your lures.

Striper Fishing off Cape Cod
Frank Stanley (pictured), member of the board of directors for Lake
Champlain International, Inc. caught this striper on a recent fishing
trip to Cape Cod. The striper was 44 inches, just around 36lbs weighed
on a hand-held scale.
Frank commented, "We fished in deeper waters 50' to 80' where the big
ones are. You can catch more fish in shallow areas, but they tend to be
much smaller and get very few keepers." The best fishing according to many is
near the lobster pods, but some guides don't like to fish close to them
because you can lose a lot of equipment.
