Q: I have found several lots I am very interested in purchasing, how do know which one is best? Any advice to help me make this decision?
- Klueless in Kensington

A: Klueless, there are several ways to get information pertaining to your lots that can help you make your decision.  First would be to call your County Building/Permit office and ask them to help you pull up all past and present information for the lots. If you have made an offer on the lots or are about to make an offer, request that the offer is contingent based on a Feasibility Study conducted by a Land Engineer. This study will provide you with pertinent information regarding the lots "buildability". Last, drive by and take time to walk the lot.  Get a feel for the lot because that lot could be your next home.
