Have you gotten used to typing "2012" yet? I am glad that 2011 is in the can. It was a wonderful year, but I have my sites set on much bigger things now. How about you? Chances are, you have some strong ideas of what you want to accomplish this year in your business and your life...and I am suggesting that we find a way to do something today to get you moving in the right direction.
Obviously I am not sitting with you in a private session right now, so it's hard for me to know EXACTLY what your goals for Dec 2012 might be, but if you are an expert or entrepreneur, you have a significant increase in revenue on your goal sheet, and you plan on establishing yourself as the indisputable, recognized expert in your field. So what can we do today? Let's get you started thinking about video and visual media in a way that you have not until now. If you are already using video, fantastic! How can you go further? Can you video your speaking engagements to promote yourself to more stages? How about your trainings to create a downloadable product to sell? You might even video your everyday work process and use it on the "about us" portion of your website. Think outside of the box. Contact me if you need some ideas! Not only does video supply a website conversion rate increase of 50 to 300 percent, excellent for search engine optimization , etc, etc...but, simply said, YOUR BOTTOM LINE DEPENDS ON IT NOW. If you have an online presence at all and are not utilizing video effectively, you will fall behind your competition. Yes, you. And me! The pressure is on, but you need not panic. "Why can't I just use a powerpoint-type video? I see that all the time." EXACTLY! These videos are easy and affordable, and they are better than nothing, but you must combine that info with putting yourself on camera in order to be established as an expert. Why worry about being recognized as an expert? Because experts have followers. I am not referring only to followers on Twitter. I mean followers as in real life fans...the people who like and trust you, refer you, and share your video messages. These are your fans, and take it from me...fans are worth more than you can put on a marketing price tag! If you want to create a movement, or move a market, let's talk about how you can accomplish that with video and visual media opportunities... it can be easier than you think.
