Neighborhood Reminders
As warm weather greets us, we have many more walkers on our
sidewalks. With that, the HOA board is asking that everyone remember
to pick up after yourself and your pets. There are doggie depot
stations throughout the neighborhood for your convenience. Aslo please
remember to pick up those soda cans, juice boxes, cigarette butts and
other debris lying around. Also, PLEASE be sure to pick up the Free
Newspapers that are delievered each week. These papers being left
behind are not only an eyesore, but could also be considered littering,
so please do your part to help keep our neighborhood beautiful! |

Directors' Notes
Dear Friends and Neighbors: As the summer comes to a close and the kids are headed back to a
new school year, we all are looking back at a great summer at Arbor Creek. With lots of warm, ok HOT, weather the pool
stayed busy at all times. The 4th
of July party was a HUGE success. We had
a record turn out with over 500 people in attendance. Thank you to Michele Blevins and Jen McKeon
for taking on the challenge of planning this event. As we look forward to the fall, and cooler weather, the board is
busing working on making next summer just as great as this year. We hope to see you all at the upcoming
neighborhood events and parties. Please
be sure to check out our new website, www.arborcreekhoa.com,
to help stay up to date on everything that is going on around the neighborhood! Arbor Creek Master HOA Board Yolanda Lundberg, President Jen McKeon, Vice President Michele Blevins, Treasurer Roger Cameron, Secretary Tracy Cook, Member at Large

Community Watch Update &
Crime Awareness |
The facts about
burglary... · More than six million residential
burglaries occur every year in this country. That's one every ten seconds! · Nearly half of these burglaries are
committed without force - that is through UNLOCKED doors and windows! Most of these
burglaries could be prevented. · Always lock your doors and windows
even when leaving for "just a minute." · Never leave a house key available:
under a doormat, in a flower pot, on the ledge of the door. These are the first
places a burglar will look.
If you would like to
make life even harder for crooks - remember the following tips:
· Exterior doors should have "dead
bolt" locks with a 1 inch strong metal bar extending into the frame. · Sliding doors and windows should all
have "ventilation" locks as well as auxiliary locks to bolster security. · Be sure to include good locks for
garage, cellar, patio or other doors that lead out through storage areas or a
spare room. Don't let them knock
your block off! Want to know the best
crime prevention tool ever invented? A GOOD NEIGHBOR! · Law enforcement officers can't be
everywhere at once, but you and your neighbors can. You're the ones who really
know what's going on in the neighborhood. · Put that neighborhood know-how to
work. It's simple: just use your eyes and ears - then your telephone. If you
spot something suspicious, call the police or sheriff immediately. · Don't try to stop a criminal
yourself -it can be dangerous. · Neighbors working together in
cooperation with law enforcement make one of the best crime fighting teams
around. "Don't let anyone
tell you that Neighborhood Watch is an excuse to be nosey. In three communities
in the Long Beach, California area, active Neighborhood Watch programs resulted in a 45 percent reduction
in residential burglaries!"
