Neighborhood Reminders

As we all set out to reach our New Years Resolutions, we have many more walkers on our sidewalks.  With that, the HOA board is asking that everyone remember to pick up after yourself and your pets.  There are doggie depot stations throughout the neighborhood for your convenience.  Aslo please remember to pick up those soda cans, juice boxes, cigarette butts and other debris lying around.  Also, PLEASE be sure to pick up the Free Newspapers that are delievered each week.  These papers being left behind are not only an eyesore, but could also be considered littering, so please do your part to help keep our neighborhood beautiful!
Directors' Notes

Hello Friends and Neighbors!!

We hope you all had a safe and happy Holiday season!  As one more year passes, we enter into a new decade with, again, big plans for the neighborhood.  As everyone is trying to stay warm, the Board is eagerly looking forward to the upcoming pool season.  You will soon start to see some new and exciting updates to the pool, please see the Pool News section for more detail.  The new management company is now in place and GREAT things are beginning to come from the change. The board will also be adventuring into an NEW HOA website, with many great features.  Please stay posted for upcoming information.

As we all look forward to an AMAZING 2010, the board asks that you please help keep the neighborhood amazing as well.  You can do this by volunteering to help with committees, events, being on the board or just helping out.  Please contact a board member or management if you are interested.

Pool News
Pool News
As the bitter cold is still here, and the snow is still melting in some places, we are looking forward to an amazing 2010 pool season.  2009 brought a lot of changes to the pool, with the addition of the key card system and 2010 will bring many more.

Each year the pool is inspected by Wake County for safety prior to opening.  Last year the board was informed that the surface of the pool would have to be redone in order for the pool to open this year.  The board actively looked at our options and prices and have decided on some GREAT changes.

As the weather begins to warm up, you will see some demolition at the pool.  Among the changes, the pool surface will change from being painted to plaster.  It will also have new tile around the edge and an addition of tile swim lanes and depth markers.  Along with the surface changes, you will also notice a difference in the water this season.  The pool will be changed for a chlorinated system to a NEW Salt Water System.  This new addition will not only be better for your bathing suits, hair and skin, but is also more environmental friendly and economically an overall good choice!

The board is looking forward to an exciting and fun upcoming pool season and we look forward to seeing each of you there!

Pool Key Cards

If you have lost your key card or never got one last year.  Please contact Jeff at CAS at (919) 367-7711 to request a new or replacement card.  The HOA will provide each house 1 (one) key card on a 1 (one) time basis.  Replacement or additional cards will be $10 per card or you can also purchase a key fob for $20.  There is a limit of 2 (two) cards per household.
