Hello Neighbors!!!

As the Holidays approach, we look back at what a wonderful year it has been.  The neighborhood has taken a few new changes.  The entrances were completed and have been a wonderful addition to the overall look of the community.  The addition of the "No Soliciting" signs help get rid of the unwanted door knockers.

As we reflect back, we are also thinking of the exciting year to come.  As most of you have heard, we will soon be under new management guidance.  More information is available in the "New Management" section of the newsletter.  The board knows that this company will help lead our community into the next decade looking amazing and running smoothly.

With the year coming to a close so quickly, we would like to take a moment and Thank everyone that has come out to help us throughout the year.  Neighborhood events and developments would not happen without all of you, so Thank You!

Season Greetings and Warm Wishes,

Tracy Cook, President
Yolanda Lundberg, Vice President
Jen McKeon, Secretary
Michele Blevins, Treasure

Recreation News ~

The fall season kicked off with a warm and sunny day for the Annual Fall Fest.  Kids, and parents alike, enjoyed the day jumping in the bounce house and many trips down the slide.  Cotton candy, popcorn and snow cones were a welcome treat after all the excitement.  Holly Springs Police Department was on hand to talk to homeowners and give out some Halloween safety tips.  A few kids also got to sit in the Police car and play with the siren.  Many thanks to Tracy, Michele and Jen for making the day a happy event for all.

As the holidays approach, not many events are planned.  This is to give time to all of you and for the people that work so hard to put these events on, to spend time with your family and friends remembering what the season is all about.  Please keep a look out for many events coming in 2010!

The holidays are here!  Don't forget while you are busy shopping and hiding presents to be safe.  Just as you are busy shopping, thieves are busy stealing.  Lock purchases in a trunk or hide them to prevent theft.  Be aware of others around you.  At home, don't put presents near windows that thieves could view them through.  Put lights on timers or have a neighbor turn on lights inside & outside if you go out of town.  Be sure to stop your newspapers and have your mail brought in by a neighbor.  Be a good neighbor:  call the police when you observe a stranger behaving in a suspicious manner.  A  cooperative neighborhood can increase everybody's home security with very little individual effort or time.

Management News ~
The HOA Board of Directors is excited to announce that beginning in 2010 we will be under new management guidance.  CAS Management will be taking over the services effective February 1st.  As a homeowner, little effect will be felt.  CAS will be mailing out information on how the changes will take place.  The board will also be holding a special meeting for the neighbors to come out and meet your new management team on Wednesday January, 6 at 7:00 at Holly Springs Cultural Center.  They will also be on hand to answer any questions or concerns you might have.  Please come out and show them what a GREAT community we are.
