BACKGROUND FOR WHEAT BELLY

Last week I introduced you to William Davis, author of the best seller "Wheat Belly" and invited you to read his book, to make your own decision, and to consider eliminating or reducing wheat.  In this issue I will share some of your responses.   

 

WHO IS WILLIAM DAVIS?

 

He is a Milwaukee based cardiologist, who used to do the typical invasive procedures.  Many of his patients were following the typical protocol for post heart procedures and had scores considered good.  Yet he noticed many had to come back for another invasive procedure.  He became frustrated.  So he changed his emphasis and his practice to preventive heart disease and he is now the medical director of Track Your Plaque, an online heart disease prevention program.  He writes frequently for prestigious national publications, such as LifeExtension.

1.  Restaurant owner serving fresh food says "I have never seen anyone who did not benefit from reducing or eliminating wheat".
