ENERGY = HAPPINESS = MORE ENERGY |
Do you want more energy? Increased energy makes you feel better and allows you to be more alert and effective at work, to be more creative, to spend more time with friends and hobbies, etc.
Proof of this need for more energy are the lines at the coffee shops and the checkout counters at convenience stores, where you will find a huge variety of high potent energy products.
Corporations also want more energy. That's a major reason why companies continue to work on teamwork, rewards, promotions, new products, new marketing, etc. The hope is that employees will be happier (energized) and the company will be more successful.
My coaching experience proves there is a direct "CONNECTOR" between the corporate and individual energy. [I'm purposely using the word CONNECTOR to prepare you for next week's exciting issue on The Connector Assessment]

EXERCISE |
EXERCISE
This week I invite you to do this exercise to find out what supercharges (energizes) you. I acknowledge Jed Neiderer and Germaine Porche for furnishing some of the examples of energizers. Please write down your answers. Of course you may share your energizers with me.
What are your energizers? What lifts your spirits and causes you to soar? [Here's a sampling of some energizers]
- Starting a big project
- A deadline
- An emergency
- Being recognized for your contribution
- Training someone to be a superstar
- Boosting the confidence and self-esteem of someone
- Laughter
- Humor
- Music
- Reading
- Spirituality
- Being around people who inspire you
- Just having fun
- Freedom
- Completing a project
- Teamwork
- Making a sale
- Solving a difficult problem
- Preventing a big problem
- Deftly handling a serious customer complaint
- Saving your client/customer a lot of money
- Standing up for your rights
- Standing up for the rights of others

In short, what brings you happiness (energy) in your work or personal life?
Perhaps I can assist you in developing a plan to tap into more of your energizers.
