A Call (maybe a courageous call) to Friendship
Dear ,

Please feel free to forward "Marvelous Mondays" to others who will enjoy it.

FRIENDSHIP
While the lore of romanticism associated with Valentine's Day is tender, there is something even deeper which we may call unconditional love and friendship.

Are you blessed to have a good friend?  And if your life partner is also your friend, aren't you richly blessed?  Some friendships have been disrupted, usually by a miscommunication or unmet expectations which causes hurt feelings.
EXERCISE
I invite you to do the following:

1.  PARTNER CALL: If you have a life partner, tell him or her how much you value your friendship and then add "how can I be a better friend?"

2.  EASY CALL:  Call a friend you haven't spoken with in a long time and express how much the friendship means to you.

3.  COURAGEOUS CALL: You may have a person who is no longer considered a friend.  It could even be a family member.  It doesn't make any difference who hurt whom.  Just call and keep it light.  Perhaps remind them of a fun time together.  It's not a call to directly deal with a past hurt - it's just a call to re-open the door to friendship.

Of course, I will look forward to hearing the results of your exercise.
