Please feel free to forward "Marvelous Mondays" to others who will enjoy it.
KING'S LEGACY

Today we commemorate the legacy of a man who paved the way for equality.  In 1955, King accepted the leadership of the first black nonviolent demonstration in contemporary times in the United States.  He organized and led a bus boycott that lasted 382 days, eventually leading to the Supreme Court declaring unconstitutional the laws that had allowed segregation on buses.  During the boycott, King was arrested, his home bombed, and he was subjected to personal abuse.  Yet he never resorted to violence and preached against it.

His goal and his dream were civil rights, equality, and unity.  His dream seemed unattainable!  Yet he persevered and succeeded.  He followed his dream and literally marched toward it.

EXERCISE
This week, I invite you to dream about something very important to you.  It could be a charity, a cause, something personal, or related to your profession.  Brainstorm one dream.  Be BOLD.  Write it down and share it with someone.  Take one small step toward that dream this week.  I would be happy if you shared your dream with me.
