WHAT DO YOUR EARS HEAR?
|
Would you like to have new and happy EARS in 2011? Do you hear yourself use words that are often too self critical or too harsh? Do your ears hear you saying or thinking "I should have" or "if only I had ...," or "I'm no good at this," or "I can't change this habit," or "I should never have quit this job," or "I should never have taken this job, " or "I should be more organized."

EXERCISE
|
Here is an exercise for happy new ears. I invite you to do the following:
- Tell someone of your plan for your happy new EARS and ask them to hold you accountable.
- When you get a negative thought about yourself, switch to a positive affirmation such as "I'm getting there," "I'm doing the best I can," "I can do this."
- Be light and patient with yourself.
- Create your own affirmations.
