SLEEP |
This is the third in a series on sleep (Click here for issues 94 and 95). Here are the four tips for peaceful sleep.
- EXERCISE: Rigorous exercise (earlier in the day) relieves stress and causes the body to sleep.
- SLEEP ENVIRONMENT: A cool, quiet, uncluttered and dark room.
- MEDITATION: Dr. Orloff, professor of Psychiatry at U of Cal at LA, recommends a peaceful visual meditaiton before going to sleep by focusing on something very positive for you, such as a waterfall, rain, flowers, or the picture of someone you love. Then breathe and relax.
