KEEPING COOL
We all know the risks of over exercising during heat advisories.  Yet people still disregard this.  The story of LISA IMGRUND is compelling.  If this outstanding track star at Shawnee Mission Northwest can collapse from the heat, then isn't the message clear for the rest of us?  You can learn more about Lisa, heat risks, and safety tips by viewing the article from the Kansas City.  To view the article, click here.

Perhaps we can learn something else, that is how to be CREATIVE.

EXERCISE
When the day is too hot, try a new form of exercise that is not heat sensitive, such as swimming, yoga, calesthenics, walking in the mall.

In dealing with excessive heat, remember...

"This too shall pass."
