"I'm happy to go to work
(or to just get up)
this morning because..."
Dear  ,
John ImageWelcome to Issue 81.  If you did not receive a previous issue, you may use the archive link below to view it now.  The mission of "Marvelous Mondays" is to offer an inspirational thought, a practical exercise, some humor, or a simple tip to jump-start your week and to enhance your life, business, outlook or relationships.
Please feel free to forward "Marvelous Mondays" to others who will enjoy it.
THINK POSITIVE
I invite you to look at our last issue #80, entitled "What do you like about your Career?" and the exercise.  If you haven't done that exercise yet, I encourage you to take ten minutes and do it.  Hopefully, you will find many things you enjoy.  We have the choice to make positive thoughts.  This doesn't happen automatically, so we need some skills, such as the following exercises.
EXERCISE
I invite you to list all of the things you like about your business or career, or if you aren't in one, then list what you like about your family, your organization, your life and your home.  Put that list some where next to you in the morning.  Start your day enthusiastically reading that list out loud.  Soon it will be your mantra.  I invite you to do this every day for one week and see your results.  Share those results with someone.  Of course, you can share with me.

[If you are not able to do this exercise because you cannot think of many things you enjoy about your job, then what is your next move?  It might be to talk to someone in your organization, and/or a career coach who has the experience and tools to guide you OBJECTIVELY in your situation.  Of course, I am available.]
